About
A Brief Overview
RCTLounge started as a small InvisionFree forum by 772pilot. Looking for a new logo, he went to Ethan. The collaboration sparked into the idea for RCTLounge.
In January of 2008, the database at the InvisionFree forum died, leaving the site in ruins. After that, we dusted ourselves and moved to a real web host where we restarted RCTLounge from the ground up. Also in January, we hired Doug, a Web Designer that agreed to help out with a new homepage.
In March of '08, the new website was launched to great reviews. That, on top of a large community, has propelled us to become one of the top Coaster Simulator fansites on the web.
As the site has become even more popular, the idea to expand was needed. In the summer of 2009, we launched Park Thoughts, an Amusement Park Industry Blog. Park Thoughts has quickly become one of the top Industry blogs, attracting thousands of unique visitors each month.
