About two weeks ago my laptop crashed. Since then I have had to install all the programs that I had installed before it crashed, including RCT3. When I tried to reinstall RCT3 it seems as if it installs correctly but then when I try to play the game it won't open or have any response at all. I don't have any idea what is wrong. :pout:

Please help.

I now discovered that my laptop will not allow me to eject the disc. It gives me an error message saying

DVD RW Drive (E:) RCT3' is currently in use.
Save any open files on the disc, and then close the file or programs using the files before trying again.
If you choose to continue, the files will be closed, which may cause data to be lost.

I then click continue and get another error message. This one says

'DVD RW Drive (E:) RCT3' is currently in use.
Save any open files on the disc, and then close the files or programs using the files before ejecting the disc.

I hope this helps because I have no idea what to do anymore and I dont want to give up playing rct3 yet. Please Help me!!!

EDIT: Sorry for the double post but i want people to see that there is a new message here cuz i need help.

No problem. What you should try to do is open up Task Manager, navigate to processes, and see if any kind of RCT3 program is operating. If there is one, end it.

You could try to uninstall RCT3 and eject the disk.

Well in that case, you may have to remove the disk manually.

Now the shortcut on my desktop won't go away. It says that it was removed but it won't delete it.

I got the disk out by turning off my computer.

Did you try restarting the computer?

SUCCESS!!! After several nights of uninstalling and reinstalling RCT3 and several other programs I have finally found the key program that needed to be reinstalled, Windows Vista. It would take seven hours to install vista again but it was well worth it. I would like to thank all of those who tried to help me. I cant wait to get some more parks up on this site. Maybe that will bring rctlounge back from the dead.

Thanks Again,
Mhoutz09 :D
