RCTLounge Spotlight Guidelines

The RCTLounge Spotlight is a service to give projects posted on the RCTLounge Forums a well-deserved recognition. All projects are chosen by the Moderation Team based on these Guidelines:

1. Projects demonstrated excessive thought and execution as well as uniqueness.
2. It is the members top-quality work that contains minimal errors and faults.
   • Examples of faults and errors are and not limited to: Head-choppers, vegetation intersection, missing supports, unfinished plots of land, and the like. (See #6 regarding fantasy creations.)
3. Project needs to resemble some sort of theme. Projects with only trees are not acceptable.
   • RCT3 - No-CS projects are acceptable as long as a theme is prominently shown. NL - Trees are acceptable. Scenery made by creator is also acceptable.
4. Projects that closely resemble other spotlighted work will not get spotlighted.
5. Member demonstrates maturity in thread and no member to member conflicts occurred.
6. Projects don't always have to be realistic to be eligible for spotlight. Be creative. Realism and fantasy are both acceptable only if you show your best and inspiring work!

Other things to keep in mind:

1. Members who constantly suggest projects to be spotlighted may be ignored by the moderation staff.
2. Members who complain to the moderation staff about not getting a spotlight may be ignored and warned for not reading the rules. (Remember: The best only get the entitlement of a spotlight.)

RCTLounge has the right to not Spotlight a certain project due to explicit or objectionable material.
