Eurostar, an Intamin AG inverted coaster that travels with Oktoberfest has been sold to Russia's Gorky Park. Now to replace Eurostar they will bring in Alpinabahn. Eurostar will be Gorky Park's sixth coaster and the tallest coaster in the park. Gorky Parks is located in Moscow, Russia.

Hersheypark has announced their 2009 addition: Boardwalk: The SEAquel. It will feature a new 378,000 gallon wave pool, called "The Shore" and around the The Shore will be a new 1,360 foot long lazy river, named "Intercoastal Waterway" and other additions such as cabanas, shops, resturaunts, retrooms, lockers.

The expansion of the boardwalk will replace the parks river rapids, in fact part of the former river rapids will be used as part of the new lazy river.
